Y for youthful

~*Youthful*~

(The picture was clicked on the wee hours of 1st January 2011 as a first picture of the new year. I was amazed by the charm spread by this young flower who just open its pellets but still wants to mesmerize the whole world.)

Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold,
Her early leaf's a flower, but only so an hour.
(Then) leaf subsides to leaf, so Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day, Nothing gold can stay.

  9. Thank you for sharing this. Your photo is a perfect companion to the Robert Frost poem. In my part of the world blooms are not opening but closed and faded until the cycle of life turns to spring.
